Today I'm going out with my cousin. She owns a hairderssers, and Mondays are the traditional day that they have off, after a busy weekend of wedding hair do's etc.

Monday was also the day my cousin did something with her Mum, my Aunt Ros. Although it's now nearly a couple of months since she died, up until recently there has still been a lot of things for her to do, as well as running her business, lookingter her husbands, children, and her Dad. I think last week was the first time that she has had time to realise that her Mum is dead. She has been on auto-pilot since it happened, holding it together really well, because she had to.

My Uncle on the other hand has completely gone to pieces. He won't go into his own house while there is any sign of my Aunt, and has been staying with friends in Clitheroe for the past three week. He's lost a lot of weight, and they have had to call the paramedics twice when he has collapsed. In away he has had the luxury of being able to dwell in his grief. God, that sounds harsh, but when you have to work you just to put on a brave face and get on with it, and greive when you can find the time.

Any way, I suggested we do something today together, and she said she'd love to.

She's just called and said she's picking me up in half an hour, so I'd better jump in the shower.

I hope the day’s gone well for both of you, these times are never easy and they can stay with us for many weeks or months, what you do have is time and each other to both reflect and adjust. I’ve not kept up with matters so this is news to me. I send you and the rest you family my utmost regards and deepest sympathies. Loosing a loved one is bad enough, loosing a loved we actually loved is far worse and thats when family should come together.

Have a great day out. I hope that you can save some energy to come to the Octagon with us tomorrow night. Sparks is off to France on Sunday, so it will be the only chance we get to see East is East...
