A little less than a week ago I told you of the saga of Morrisons and the bacon ribs...the expensive bacon ribs.
I sent an e-mail off to the customer services outlining the situation. There has been an awful lot of silence regarding this issue.
I did get an acknowledgement that told me that someone would be in touch with 72 hours.
The 72 hours came and went...and yes I know it is Christmas and everyone is very busy...but if you promise a response in a set time scale, then you really need to keep to that if you wish to retain any kind of integrity.
I scanned my computer, checked my spam...just in case the e-mail had gone there...NOTHING, zero, zilch.
I was disappointed, feeling that my complaint was being ignored, or sidelined.
I felt quite dischuffed. I cut and pasted my original letter and resent it, noting that the 72 hours had long since passed....I suggested that maybe if I resorted to letting the shopping public know of this issue on Twitter then maybe I would get a response.
My first e-mail was quite tongue in cheek, but my second one was a little more terse.
Tonight I received a phonecall from the customer services and the upshot is that they are sending me a £5 gift card....they have promised to look into this pricing policy too.
So at last a result.
I won't let this vast sum change my life.
I might just treat Ma to some more Bacon ribs.
