Well what a day!
I am one very lucky lady.
Woke up pretty early and t'other bounced out of bed to get my card and handed it to me before I could wipe the sleep out of my eyes! It were lovely, very nice words and a lil soppy just the way I like them!!
It has been hard trying to train the t'other half into buying decent cards that mean something but my hard work has paid off!!
When we first got together he wasnt very good at showing his feelings but he has mastered it now.
Got up and he made me a brew while I had a fag and tried to wake up. Went in the living room and a bag was on the table from Goldsmith's the jewellers. My belly flipped with excitement! Sat down and opened the box and all I could think was WOW!
One very expensive watch that sparkled in the light just for me!! It is very very nice!!
About 10am me Mum came round with her pressies and they were just as nice! I got 2 bunchs of lovely flowers and a nice candle set (I love my candles!) Take Thats new album, bottle of wine, a box of choc's and the best pressie of all.......................
a plaque that says the words,
"I love you all the way to the moon and back again"
My eyes filled up with tears as it has a meaning, me and my Mum have this little joke when we put the phone down to each other which goes like,
Me - Love you Mum see you later
Mum - Love you too, bye
Me - Love you moreeeeeeeeeeee
Mum - Just not possible!
So now she says that she deffinatly loves me more because she bought me this!!
She also got me a lovely card that had on the front " To our daughter" and inside it had a passage from Mum and another from Dad which I thougth was very unusual and never seen one like this before. Well that was it, the words meant alot and I sat there crying!
She also bought me the dress that I mentioned in my other blog.
Mum also brought round the pressie me brother had bought me, bottle of wine and jewelry that he doesnt know but I had picked myself when I were out shopping with Mum!
I had recieved money off both my Grandma's and off t'other halfs Mum and ended up with alot more than I expected.
Aunties bought me wine............they know me so well!!
Mum left us to it and we ventured to Bury as the watch t'other half had bought me needed some links taking out as it were too big.
I havent been to Bury in years but always enjoyed it when I had been and t'other half had never been.
Tell you, he hadnt done alot before he met me!
Got the watch done and it fits perfectly now.
We had a lovely day, the market was on and it were great seeing a market so lively! Totally agree with you Marg, how did ours ever win best market this year??
Arived at the butchers bit and one of the stalls was doing a deal, 5 beef steaks, 4 pork steaks, pack of gammon, pack of bacon and 5 pieces of chicken all for a tenner! Well we had to have a bag of that didnt we?!
We pottered around the other shops and then ventured home as we were having tea out with Mum, Dad and brother but thats for another blog!
I really enjoyed my day out in Bury and like I said at the beginning I am one very lucky lady!
