Well here goes - this was my christmas.
I didnt go out christmas eve i couldnt be bothered getting my act together! I just stopped in and watched tv and had a couple of drinks. Eventually i got to bed - took my neighbours xmas pressies which she'd hidden in my house over about 2am - her son wouldnt go to bed and sleep! Anyway i got up about 11.30 dived in the shower and a friend called for me at 12 to go for a xmas drink at the pub i was ready by five past and in the pub by 6 minutes past. Not bad to say i opened the door in my dressing gown! My bro came to pick me up at 1.15 to see my mum - i was still in the pub i saw him pull up and went to the pub door and shouted him and he came in and bought him a drink for xmas. Anyway i came out of there at 2.30 not staggering but not sober either the landlady gave me and my mate a free vodka - not a single either think it worked out about a triple and it was a flavoured one smirnoff with a twist of orange it was really nice i'll recommend it! Then another friend bought a chocolate mint vodka that plus 4 halves of lager and i wasnt sober not drunk just merry! Still had to go home and put the turkey in for my bro and my tea i said we were having christmas tea not dinner because of going and seeing my mum. Bro picked me up at 3 and we picked my nephews up and went to see mum. She was worse than she was on Friday but she was up and down in the lounge and she wasnt taking any notice of us. We only stopped 5 mins and then went back to my ex bro in laws and dropped the nephews off and came home. Bro went up home to get changed and I set into putting the tea on. We started eating about 5 and the phone rang it was the home they'd rang for an ambulance for mum and they'd took her to casualty at fairfield. We finished our tea and bro went for the car and i rang sis up and we picked her up and ended our day at casualty. Mum was kept in she was having problems breathing again. Anyway we got home about 10pm and bro went home about 10.30 and my mate rang to find out how she was i told her she was in hospital and she said to come down to her house so i went down there and came home about midnight.
Yesterday i got a phone call from another family member i thought bro had rang him to tell him that mum was in hospital and he was ringing up to find out how she was and he didnt know so there was a quick get myself out of trouble and a quiet promise i'd kill my bro when i saw him. I was supposed to go to a party last nite but i didnt feel like it i was worried about mum so i stopped at home.
I got a phone call from Dave and he said that he'd call in later. Went down to the hospital to see mum with Dave she was looking a lot better and she was talking as well. She had a spot of colour in her cheeks today as well. She gave me my orders to pick up the xmas cards from the home and sort them out and to go and get a birthday card for a cousin and get it sent off her birthdays on new years day! When we came back i made Dave his tea and my bro and niece came in later as well........
