Never seen you up here yet? I'm hoping Garindas description of you are correct though, I'd hate to mistaken you for just another common garden gnome.

Yeah,we saw that one Gary. They had some with some stone circles marked out to dating back to the 'Bronze Age'garinda said:She's wrote Antley Skye on that map with a biro this afternoon!!!!
Only joking, well done.
I remember looking at the same charts. They also had one which showed a prehistoric burial mound which is still visible on the horizon line of Ossy moors, if I remember correctly.

These are work done by the Ossy Civic Society and are covered in plastic. I couldn't alter them even if I had wanted to ..... which I didn't need to do cus I'm right, your wrong nah nah ner ner![]()

Bagpuss said:Wait a minute you did not know the answer when Tom asked you in the first place.

Tinkerbelle said:Right, I have this little theory.
You said Bagpuss that you think it's Springhil Clough, is the clough not just the wooded or areas with trees there and the Syke is the stream? I noticed a number of different Sykes and Cloughs on these maps today.
Does that make sense? What I'm trying to say is that we are actually both right ...... Springhill Clough is the wooded area that Antley Syke stream runs through.
Doug said:I would love to be able to look over them at my leisure.
Doug said:Clough - a ravine or the sloping side of a ravine.
