National Statistics

Sounds like a scam to me.
I have never heard of the National Statistics Office doing home visits.
It is the sort of scam to get info for a survey to sell you stuff

it wasn't a scam, i had 2 letters prior to their visit asking if it was alright to call round, they didnt ask me any questions about 'products' or try and sell me anything, either way Margaret it doesn't really matter does it

they said it was a random thing Bernie, i was picked at random and i was 'representing' my area, the men stayed for 45 minutes and just asked basic questions like, race, age, name of anyone else living here, ages etc

i think they mentioned there's a census coming up this year too

Hmm, you may have been best checking with the office of national statistics about that.

COuld still be a scam and your bank account may end up empty soon as your whole families identity would have been collected... :D

If so you will know any scammers would not be daft enough to bother her. She would beat them to death with just a look :D

I still think it's a scam, but maybe a government scam
they have demonstrated that they are quite capable of such things
