Never again............

Why, why, why do I agree for t’other half to come shopping when I know it’s gonna be hard work and we will end up arguing????!!!!

I usually go on my own or with my Mum if she needs things or mooch around and it’s easy.

Really easy………

If we need to rush we go straight to what we want but always keep an eye out for any “bargains”.

If we are not in a rush we take our time, we really look for the bargains and have a good look for the stuff with the best sell by dates. We then go and look at aisles that we don’t usually go down just incase we see something new of different to feed the rabble at home! We smell different potions and lotions to see if there is a nicer smell to what we have got and to see if there is anything cheaper for us to save money TBH. Typical women in my opinion.

So yesterday we needed some shopping, my Mum were busy up at me Grandma’s so it looked like I were off on me own, not that it bothers me sometimes it’s nice having your own company for a while.

Well just as I were finishing my brew and having a cig before I ventured out the t’other half came out the back to see what I were doing. Told him I were finishing me cig and then going to go food shopping. Then the response came “I will come with you then” I thought ok, I wasn’t in a rush so I agreed.

Well that were a mistake…………………………..

Went to Home & Bargain, t’other half pushing the trolley me walking behind. As soon as we go in he try’s to put a big bag of Smarties in the trolly. He knows I just take them out again, we are shopping for the house not for his little pleasures. So back they went on the shelf, he wasnt impressed so went to stand at the end of the aisle with the trolley. I got a few bits and then followed him round.
I wont go into the details and bore you all but lets just say I ended up with arms full of shopping trying to find me trolley!!!

Then after a heated debate between us at the till due to me getting in the queue and him dilly dallying behind with the trolley I had to come out of the line to meet me trolley as there were no room for him to push it to me so that put me behind 2 extra people!!!

I know what you are thinking, why don’t I push the trolley? Well he wont have none of it, he wants to push it and to be honest he is even worse without one holding him back!!

Off we then went to ASDA, should have dropped him off at home but oh no I didn’t think about that did I? Maybe its just that I like the chase (of me trolly) around a shop!

Yep and you can guess it I were trying my best to do the shopping but he were half a mile away or stuck behind some of our older generation getting angry as they are doing their shopping at 1mph!

Anyway after all that went home poured a glass of wine (naughty I know!) and had a cig letting him put the shopping away thinking to myself……………………………..

NEVER AGAIN!!!!! :D

my dad always said he had to push the trolley ... my mum said pushing the trolley helped her think what shopping to get ..... it always ended up mum pushing the trolley, me the runner and dad wandering around and then meeting us at the checkouts wi his bits and pieces ... and dumping em in the trolley and mum saying ive already got that ... lol

oh by the way when me and spugs go shopping its a case of who gets the trolley pushes it ... so mainly its spugs pushing and me annoying him!!!:D:D:D

i either go meself or go camp dave n mel, when down wi her who must be obeyed, then lurk about having a fag. very enjoyable n less hassle.:D then i am rang when shes done n there are bags to lug.

This sounds very familiar, if i go shopping with the wife in asda we ALWAYS end up in a argument but then again she takes hours, 6 hours in asda shopping is quick for the misses me i know what i want and straight there and back to the railway for a pint

No I pay for the shopping Marg! :D
Thought it may sound familiar to alot of people, it happens with my Mum & Dad aswell!

Anyway its easier to go on me own or with my Mum I have decided!!

For a stress free life, buy groceries online - it's cheaper than you think, (and you can get to read the ingredients list before you put it in your trolley).
