New ideas for OSC

We have a couple of ideas that we will be pursuing as we go through next season, nothing rubber stamped yet but the more people who become involved whether that's just with suggestions, helping out or coming along to meetings the more we can achieve.
As the Supermarket advert says "Every Little Helps"

The first ideas are:
Setting up of memberships with a view to them available both through the Club Shop itself & the online shop.
There are things within this that need discussion at the next meeting but the crux of the idea is to offer a free membership to everyone with discounts available to members within the shop giving members something in return while also achieving hopefully a big mark up in numbers for the Supporters Club and building up a database at the same time.
Siver membership- membership fee to then include silver membership card and badge but giving a bigger discount in store.
Gold Membership-membership fee but giving same as Silver but a bigger discount again in store.
All of these as I say need to be discussed at the next meeting which I hope to bring Lew along to help me discuss what exactly the Supporters Club & The Club itself can acheive together.

Over the course of the year try to set ourselves achievable targets for different events at the moment these are only my thoughts:
The Club will be doing a Season Ticket Launch Evening again this proved to be very popular last year and I was thinking we can maybe launch the membership at the same evening while also helping the club out by also being there to offer assistance with the season tickets.
The Club itself are doing Barrowford Show this year, I have no involvement now with the Show but know how it works and how we can get involved alongside and work as a team with the Club to help promote our Club.

I am looking to organise a gig in the Lounge before Christmas depending on fixtures which in essence can be the Christams Do for the Supporters Club with a group and disco that will cover Soul, Mod, Ska, Punk 60's. 70's etc. music which will be again a break from the norm for us all and will pretty much run itself, it will be a chargeable event and can be done with the ticketing system at the Club but I hope it would sell out.
