Today we received a new B.T. box and hub after cancelling our Sky subscription (much to expensive);
The advice from B.T. "that it would only be a case of connecting a few cables between the Television and the new hub" sounded good to a Luddite like me. I started at 10-30 and finally had the computer and T.V. up and running at around 15-00 hours, Ha Ha, It's good to be a Luddite.

anyone remember MFI and there instructions for their flat pack stuff. they didn,t even put diagrams on the 5 lines of instructions. same with car Haynes manuals. if i cannot do a job before reading one i,d never be able to do it. quite unlike old american ones for their cars. problem with them its 3 pages on just changing a light bulb. suppose they did that with there home market in mind.

True. I've seen plenty of dreadful, badly written & nonsensical Instructions. When there is any!

Particularly where English is obviously not a first language & the Writer is evidently unfamiliar with the product. That's from supposedly British Manufacturers.

They'll eventually all be deservedly gone.

Taddy, you can see step by step nstructions online for most things...You Tube has a wide range of tutorials.

Failing that get some friendly neighbourhood school child to show you how it is done...they know just about everything about technology..or so it seems.

There was one instruction manual popped through my letterbox sometime ago, I'm glad I didn't have to follow the instructions, would have been better though with a postcard saying:-

i will actually admit to reading some .. especially as im on my own like how to make a lawnmower work .. but will admit anything to do with this the spugster sorts when he comes down .. and he will do if he manages to get down in 6 weeks time .. because theres something to do with windows 11 ..
