Southampton broke with tradition two years ago and played in a nearly(white pin stripes)full red shirt and West Brom last season ditched their navy blue stripes for hard to notice pinstripes so other clubs experiment. Scunthorpe used to play in red shirts but changed their club colours to claret and blue. Arsenal played in burgundy shirts the other year,Bury played in sky blue and brown shirts the other year. Accept it folks,it's not permanent, though i do prefer it when we play in white shorts rather than red!

Seriously though i don't know why some are getting worked up over a few stripes. The strip will still be predominantly red! A few white stripes on the front of the shirt is all we're on about!
Anyway,to those who say we are the Reds and now we wont be. I say we are known throughout the football world as Stanley(the only Stanley in Britain and probably the world),not the Reds, as there must be hundreds if not thousands of "Reds" out there!
