Next Home Game

[lancsdave]

Just discussing guess the gate tonight and I offered to bet Mel £1 that the next home gate will be between 4-5000. She seems to think I'm I can't be right

Well Mansfield will have to bring a lot more than last season, was on a Tuesday night but the gate was only 1234

You have to read my post very carefully..... Mel didn't

Dave, I'm sure your reserves play very attractive football, but I can't see their match against Carlisle a week on Wednesday bringing that many in!

[lancsdave]

I think I should point out when I tried to make the bet I was in wind up mode for a change

Now I'm being sulked at

[Wynonie Harris]

Right, the penny's dropped now...4-5,000...very good! I don't blame her for sulking, gates are a very sensitive point with us lot at the mo!

So I have been reminded, I would offer to go to the next game I'm available but with the 2 black eyes I have just received it might be difficult watching the game

Always a good bet in the pub before the game is this one

Thank you, Dave, I shall remember that one next time I'm in the Greyhound. Give 'im a slap from me, Mel!

I think there will be more than four people on as well - but less than five thousand!
