Ok what have i been doing - like the title says not a lot! Played pool on Monday - down at the Victoria. We got beat 8-1! Mind you it was their A team and a couple of the games went down to the black. We were unlucky not to win a couple more games! Work on wednesday and i got sent out to check the building and when i was walking round what a difference a week makes! The pics in the gallery were took from round the back of the sports centre and it looked really nice with the blue skies looking towards grane. Wednesday it was black as the ace of spades - it had been chucking it down 5 mins before i went to check the building and everything looked so dark and dull. I wish i had my camera again with me i would have took 2 more pics to show what it looks like when it had been raining. Just made it back into the sports centre when the heavens opened again! I've agreed to make some xmas decorations out of the salt dough for the credit union to sell to raise money and also for my niece to take into school. Christmas trees, snowmen and father christmas's. I've made them before and we've raised some money for them. I've to paint the credit unions up but my nieces ones are going for the kids to paint. The painting is the hardest part - you need a steady hand! I punch holes in them with a straw so its a perfect round circle and buy ribbon of the market to string them with. I've got some as xmas decorations i made about 5 years ago and theyre still going strong. I varnish them as well to make sure they last. I also made some plates as decorations out of the salt dough and put a snowman and xmas tree on and painted them up. They take longer to do though but i've promised i'll make a couple of them as well. Ive always been someone who enjoys making stuff. One year for the credit union i made brooches - father christmas and snowmen and we sold them. I was on holiday in northern ireland and in enniskillen shopping and i found this craft shop. I loved it in there. If i'd had some more money and a bigger suitcase i would have bought more stuff in there bugger to what easyjet said!!! The only problem would have been carrying it back!
