I know of one company who pay them the correct wage but as part of the contract of employment they also house them. They charge them ridicolous rents and exhorbitant amounts for electric and gas. Nothing illegal but totally immoral.

Not really I have one or two things festering that I need to get of my chest this subject of eastern europeans being one. Garinda was under the impression that I was hiding a dislike for the colour of peoples skin behind a hate of multiculturism this is not true I just want English people to come first in our country. Multiculturism is a cancer that we can't cure and this has now got worse by the recent influx of EE that we stupidly allowed in by being part of EU. What we need to do first is close the borders to anymore then send those that are here back, reclaim our country.:eek:

Willow I am not stupid enough to think that we could send back people who have been here for years, I am talking about the immigrants that have arrived since the eastern european countries where allowed to join the EU.

I never said that. I merely asked a question, to the forum in general, how employers are getting away with paying less than the minimum wage.

I've lost interest in searching for now but lets replace muslims for eastern europeans and say I've moved on for now, multicuturism or multi-racialism its all the same.:)

It does work both ways you know bagpuss - my cousin is out working in Poland and has been for the last 5 years.

By the way did you know people in Poland have problems finding plumbers? :D

Good point. When we in the UK were in a depression in the eighties, I know load of tradesmen who became economic migrants, chasing tradesmens jobs all over Europe.

There will be people in Poland who will be saying he should go home, I will say as a slight variation on my previous statement that if they have skills that this country needs then they should be allowed in on a temporary permit but currently they are coming in not for our benefit but for themselves.:mad:
 
They wont do - hes actually training them to do his job for when he retires plus the company who he works for keeps asking him to go to france for stuff.

Just like we did in the eighties. West Germany, the Netherlands, Saudi. All off trying to earn a crust for their families back home.


And despite trying to second guess me, or put words into my mouth Puss, I don't agree with an open border policy for migrants, and I don't think we should be part of the EEC.
