Not idle.

I might not have done much in the way of Christmas shopping.
I'm not doing much in the way of Christmas cooking either(but more than the other year when I downed tools :)).
My plan for tomorrow is just to do the usual Sunday Roast...I think it might be beef. With all the trimmings of course. There will be no starter(you don't need it and it takes the edge off your appetite)...there will be fresh strawberries and raspberries for afters with maybe a drizzle of cream and ice cream.
I have a bottle of Moscato...that might get opened...last year it didn't...but this year it might.

That doesn't mean I have been idle.
I have made lots and lots of cards...all kinds of cards.Birthday cards, wedding cards, baby cards...and some of them have generated some cash for Cancer Charities.

I think my card making has improved...but you can tell me if you think different

have a look and see what you think.

Thank you Cashy...the people wh ask me to make special cards for them seem to think so too.
It means that two Cancer charities get money that is donated for my hobby...and I get lots of pleasure from the making.
That's a Win-win in my book.

Margaret, they are absolutely beautiful. What joy they must bring to the fortunate recipients.

I hope they do Dotti. I kind of hope that my cards will not be consigned to the recycling bin. I write my own verses whenever I can, though sometimes I have to admit to being stumped.
I only know what those who ask me to make them tell me.
I do not 'sell' my cards, but ask instead that a donation is given to me so that this can be sent to my two Cancer Charities( beating Bowel Cancer and Macmillan).
I take nothing out of the donations as I reckon if I smoked or drank(another hobby pursued by folks) I would be paying for my hobby. A lot of my stuff is bought at bargain basement prices from other crafters who are giving up the hobby.

This crafting has been very therapeutic. It means that while my head and my hands are busy there is no room in my head for worries and 'what ifs'.

Thank you Jen. I really enjoyed making them and still have a head full of ideas. I hope I can remember them for next year.
It seems a bit early to start on NEXT years cards.:D
