I've just spoke to a mate who works for O2. Certain parts of Lancashire will be down for upto 24 hours.

me daughters just bin wi grandaughter her phone was working in Bury, yet when she got oer here nowt, yet mine was still ok weird or what? unless its cos mines just a bog standard phone no fancy crap on it?

They had signs up in the O2 shop in Accy saying they were experiencing network problems today.
