I didn't have a "Robinson" connection so this helps fill a gap and poses Q'S. Why was my grandfather living with his sisters inlaws??
May never know!!
Katex's census return shows he was living with his brother in law, his sister having married a Robinson. Thanks

There's no Oldhams in Rose Street or Rose Place in the 1951 directory. There are others elsewhere. I am sort of related to a Oswaldtwistle (Ossie) lot of Oldhams. Have a look at the Lancashire Family History Society's website. Check some Oldhams out on the British Telecom website.
.....................................................................Bob, the Ossy Oldhams you are related to, Are they Dick Oldham and his younger brother Riley Oldham who both worked at Huncoat Colliery. Dick was an Overman and Riley was a faceworker.
