Went to Uni yesterday. It was nice to see that after last weeks boring lecture, we had all still turned up. Unfortunately, this week was even worse than last week and the afternoon culminated in me falling asleep at my desk... Ooops!!!! Honestly, I'm quite convinced that I lapsed into a coma temporarily. I had to be kicked under the table by my mate from Preston.
I have been to Althams today with my reply to Belleair's letter, which literally accuses us of lying about how manky our apartment was. It's a good letter and I have jumped on every contradiction in their reply, every detail of their brochure description is quoted, and I have accused them of breach of contract with subsequent denial of accountability. The staff at the travel agents have read it and commented that I was a very good letter writer.
I then did the piece de resistance and whipped out the photos. They were horrified......... I have detailed on the back of each photograph the date, and exactly how the photo differs from the brochure description, the photos contain muck, cobwebs, rusty appliances, stained pillows, broken sun loungers, cracked tiles, and the whole sorry tale. I have also asked for compensation and let it be known that I will involve ABTA (you can't involve them until you have had a reply from a second letter).
On the way home from town, I called in at Music Zone. It's a while since I had a new cd, so I decided to see what they had. I came away with a new compilation called "Housework Songs"
I reckoned that it may just prompt me to actually do some housework... It is a good compilation with Queen, Irene Cara, Kylie, Diana Ross, Madness, Donna Summer and loads more. Sadly, I was listening to it so intently that I've got nowt done....
