Seems like one of my leafletters got a bit over enthusiastic last week and encroached on the Immanuel ward. Collette, who is standing in that ward, told me about it yesterday. Fortunately, she wasn't upset by it, in fact was very nice about it. First time round so not surprising that a small mistake was made. Just need to be extra careful next time.
I've got to go and scoop up the last few streets and estates today. Not feeling thrilled about that because I've got an awful cold and the weather is too chilly - I feel like I haven't been warm for two days.
I spent a nice hour with the reporter from Accrington Observer yesterday morning, walking around the town, showing her a few problems and issues that there are.
Still haven't heard back from Environmental Health department about the mess behind the old fire station. I'm not happy with their lack of response, particularly since I've spoken to the chap three times about it. Each time, he's promised to phone me back or for his colleague to phone back but no one has. AND, the mess is still there!!!! Not happy at all!!!!!!
