I will agree with Baros but Hyypia and Friedel no way man.
 
Thank you, Cafu01, for agreeing with me that Rio Ferdinand is in fact not as good as everyone makes him out to be.

youve lost me on that john- how do you arrive at good but overated dont recall anyone saying hes a superstar lol
 
well i remember a few seasons ago when he was having a good (ish) season and that was when the rovers fans where saying he was the best thing since sliced bread!!!! and that he shouldnt be at rovers as he is too good for them but he should be rubbing shoulders with the bext in europe..... like i have said i dont think he is the worst keeper but in my opinion he is overated as the main thing about him is is that he is BIG and hes is not renound for agility or speed which i think are needed especailly agility in a keeper to be the best.


But i guess u rovers fans have seen him game in game out and i have only seen him on MOTD or Premiership so maybe i am wrong but its just my opinion

John your right, The thread is about overrated so your spot on, I would put Roy Keane and his name sake who plays in a Tottenham shirt Robbie on the list.

Well t. if you think beckham is overrated then i do believe that you do not know much about football.Look back on the past 4 years at what he has done for the National side.Dudek will now end up being overrated.He saved a couple of penalties last night and everybody forgets the blunders he made during the season
 
I don't think they will Dudek will be either no2 or sold he's to inconsistant, what ruined him was playing behind a very poor Polish defence in the World Cup, before that he was an awesome keeper.
