Parade Up Eagle Street

You don't suppose anything to do with the flats going on sale at Waterside today do you think Bernie ? Sort of Marketing thing ?

Thanks Lilly reckon to read the Observer but never saw that!!!!

It's not your fault, Bernadette.

There was nothing about it in this week's Observer. I don't know why.

That story I posted a link to was in the Observer back in February.

I remembered that they usually have the Mayor making in May, typed Hyndburn Mayor Pam Barton into google and this story came up. :)

I would have thought there would have been something in this week's paper though.

Not been very well publicised, has it?

Remember the Tony Dobson smear campaign last year.....? where someone put up banners round town on his inaugral day....:D:D:D

Yes they were.....Classic:D
I can never understand why someone would do that, if you have anything to say about another person it really looses something if your not prepared to put your name to it, thats why I could never understand people writng letters to the press and withholding their name, totally piontless

Agree Jaysay, was absolutely pointless, and made wild statements with no back up, and did the perpetrator no good at all in their accusations.

Do you think this is why there was no reminder in the Observer of this event, so as to avoid a repetition, which I feel is wrong really ?

As I said at the time, it was both a cowardly and pathetic thing to do.

Besides, as I still don't have the vaguest idea what the 'protestor's' problem actually was, it wasn't a very successful way of getting your point of view across to the general public.

If you don't have the bottle to say what you mean publicly, keep quiet.
