Just an update on this in Mel's absence and with her being offline at the moment.
The good news is that various communications have taken place between Greg's office, Hynburn Homes and the passport office and Mel should see her passport soon. Well done to Greg for picking up on it and an extra well done to Julie his office for the work done and even more the communication.
The bad news for Mel is she doesn't yet know I have only bought her a one way ticket abroad![]()

you cruel sod after all the hard work she's put in to get the thing your only letting her use it the once ...........

Another thing about passports - why do you have to have 6months still valid on them to travel to most countries? We were just about to book a last minute holiday to get away for a week in the summer holidays and then realised that the kids passports both expire in Jan 08. This, of course, means less that 6 months to go on them.
If you have to have 6 months left on your passport why do you have to buy a 10 year one, why not a nine and half year one?

I agree with you, without his help you might still have been tearing your hair out. Passport office didn't seem to be much use, it is good to know help is there when needed.I reckon you should write to the Observer too and sing Greg's praises; it might shut Farrer up for another week !![]()
