After watching tonight with trevor mcdonald last night, this guy has wrote this book for one reason and one reason only - money.

What are other peoples opinions
 
I didn't see the programme myself, but I believe that the princesses memory should be left alone.  She was a good woman, now let her be, and let her sons remember her the way she was with them...God bless her!
 
I aint no fan of Royalty at all... No sympathy for them from me.

However I despise people who put money before loyalty and trust.  String him up!
 
Tealeaf sums him up completely. I hate the fact that he just will not let her rest in peace! >:( Money grabbing ........ (not going to swear, and i good)
 
Dirties the memory of the only one of the Royal Family i ever liked.Still think she was gotten rid of though.At some point the whole truth will come to light
 
If paul Burrell is as genuine as he says he is, then why does he not donate his money from the book sales to the princess of wales charity.
 
Who would be such a  reprobrate as to buy his books? Who would be such a moral bankrupt as to buy the Daily Mirror now - what a pathetic dirty little rag that has now become.
 
Saw the program last night, and still think he's a money grabbing git, and very smarmy. Not a huge fan of the Royals, but think sleeping dogs should be left to lye. :-*
 
I don't think that the guy is a liar? Basically the days of treason are long gone, if he has the truth about Princess Diana then I think we should hear it.Also apparently the Mirror miss quoted some of his book ,the bit in which they said she had 9 lovers,that is misleading.The book actually says 9 suitors,which is a big difference.Anyway talk about backstabbing? What about bringing in Camilla? ::)
 
Haven't read anything from the Mirror. Wouldn't waste money on it. Certainly wouldn't even consider buying the book.
Have no particular interest in the Royal family as such.
As Janet says though, if he thought there was something to tell, why not give the proceeds to charity?
Mind you, it's not as if he's telling anything new anyway, really is it.  
Personally I think the guy is obsessed. Someone referred to him as "A born again Diana addict". Judging from what we saw of his home, that seems a pretty fair observation.

On the other hand, if this is the only thing that keeps the controversial subject of her death in the public domain, maybe it is serving some purpose.
Six years on and still no inquest. Wonder what the history books will be saying in 100 years time.
 
The truth will never be told about her death just like JFK it will always be covered up.  She was hounded in life please let her rest in peace.  I hope every penny Burrell makes brings him misery.
 
I agreed with Lynne the truth will never be told.
Dont get me started on Camilla with friends like that who needs enemies.
 
Being a royal is a gerat privelege, if you accept the good side you have to accept the bad side, and that means being in the limelight, even after your death.
I thought Diana was great too, but unfortunately for her she had the luck (and now bad luck) of being a princess.
I say there should be freedom of speech, this Burrell has as much right to write his memory of her as anyone of anyone else. He is an a**hole though, that's true.
 
Nicely put, Jo.....mind you, I could tell you a few little stories about the Al Fayads.....but not on an open post like this...
