Yes we are real, well real on accyweb. We can edit your posts or delete your posts even make you disappear. (Send you to jail for weeks, months or even forever) I do stress that the last option will not be done lightly it will be investigated first and if the jury find you guilty then you go to jail. (Ban)

There are now 2 pc plod on accy web, and yes they are moderators of all sections. We are simply here to take some of the responsibility from Roy due to his new family commitments. The new mods do have full authority on the whole of accyweb and being called plods was intended to make things a little more comfortable for all (there is a little humour in there). So your help and co-operation would be much appreciated.
Please bare in mind that any abuse given to Roy in the past has resulted in people being banned!So lets try to keep accyweb as happy as possible, at the end of the day all that everyone is looking for is entertainment.

maybe its his pay, you know plods dont get paid much so the odd bribe might be worth looking at.;)
 
Don't think I will want to post anymore if someone thinks it is fine to add bits into another members post. This could lead to more problems than it is supposed to prevent.

Got to say I agree with that. This PC Plod thing could cause more problems than it's supposed to solve.

It may have been amusing at first, but we don't need this heavy handed presence, same as you wouldn't want a cop breathing down your neck warning you about things all the time in real life. Especially when it puts the damper on an amusing thread, which it did on one occasion, for me at least.

The good guys aren't a problem, the bad guys it won't make behave, if anything it's likely to rile them.
All we need is the rules to be set out again for all to see, and if a post warrants it, warning or deletion.

Just one other thing. The idea of PC Plod was to be anonymous was it not?
Pretty soon people are going to suss out whos who by the way you post guys!:D :D
 
i actually thought that the plods were for the benefit of our younger members , to that them know that the forum is moderated (policed) at all times, & in a kind way show them the right & wrong of being involved in an adult, children accomadating forum //
