The word on the street is that a proposed soccer tournement between local youths and members of the Police has been cancelled, apparently rules of the Y. S. forbid adults and youngsters being involved in contact sports.
I don't believe it!![]()

Since when has football been a contact sport?
I stand corrected, thought it was sports like boxing/wrestling that were classed as contact sportsIt always was a contact sport until the premier league pansies took over

Er,it's not the Police that opted out.
Let me tell you what I think is an absolutely ludicrous situation.
Small toddler in nursery Sunday School class needs a wee-wee. The teacher can take him/her to the loo but must remain outside WITH THE DOOR OPEN. Which means that anyone and everyone can see the child on the loo. The child must not be in loo alone with door closed in case of accidents and teacher must not be in there with child with door closed in case of hanky-panky.
So it is more acceptable for the child to be on view to all and sundry? That just seems so wrong to me.
Will you never learn it is now a kissing sport, the pink pound rules. Women are usefull but there is nothing like the 'real thing'Since when has football been a contact sport?

The football game went ahead Marcus Johnstone who is the Cabinet member for children decided that the health and safety issues were outweighed by the benefits of police working with children. At last somebody with some sense!!All is well it's now become a Pool game challenge!
