Someone who works for my brother is off for a long weekend. This leaves everyone else to try and catch up with the work that's missed.
I again slept well, but it took me a couple of hours to get out of bed. Cashman called round for a brew, and to collect a tape to aid sleep, his wife had loaned me.
Since it was Mum's birthday, and the extra work would have fallen to her to do, I went to my brothers bakery to wash up.
There was mountains of it piled up. Imagine the mess after Christmas dinner, and multiply it by a hundred. Some of the big mixing bowls you have to stand on the floor and try and lower yourself in to wash them. I stayed for three hours, and managed to get through it all. It is a bit frustrating because I'm slower than I could be, but never mind, I helped, and it was nice to feel useful for a change.
