I am going to plant my peas tomorrow . I turned over some of my grass to make room for them . I can't wait for these beauties to come up and give me some peas .

I am planting a 16 foot row of peas , by 3 foot wide , hoping to have enough to eat while in the garden and hopefully this year some to put in the freezer .

Peas planted , 3 bags of them . lol Also make sure you put slug pellets down on them .

i've never done that before and always got a decent crop, you don't half make this growing thing expensive ya know Daveyboy ;)

Peas just starting to come up now . We had a thunder storm on Friday that woke most of Preston up , But we got a drenching also which helped .

Maybe a little more than half an inch Dave, they'll be ok, they usually come through eventually, it might be because they don't get enough sun where they are

The " Pea moth maggots " are starting to infest the pea , you can use liquid derris to treat the plants .

I have pea pods!!!! They are coming along nicly now.
As i am a newbie just a question, is it too late to plant some more or am i gonna have to wait til next year now?

My peas have taken twelve weeks to get were they are now . so if you plant very soon , you may get another crop before winter ! Maybe around the end of september / october

Greenhouse peas did come up and flower . I had another small crop of peas. I only planted a few just to see if i could get another crop .
