KIPAX

Town Elder
Tackler
been looking to supply shop with stuff... the online sales through fotopic didnt work well..

i can frame pics and hand em to shop...

tried looking for blank postcards to fire a load of them off but cant find any :(

cant make calanders .. dunno how

bit stuck for ideas and know how

ideas?

CALENDER = bit of totty (or 12 bits of totty) with some numbers stuck underneath, then speak to a binding company.

POSTCARDS = Speak to Terry Slinger, he has done a load of em for OSC and has been playing with the format for ages.

what about Stanley Top Trumps?

you know the game

Mullin

Pace 2
Heading ability 6
shooting power 8
determination 10
value (in ackers) 1 million
games played nearly 1 million

would be fun as you would need 52 players to make a deck so would have to incorporate older players as well.

Could bring on a 'funner' version of Poker Night by having a top trumps night!!!

Hope that helps. :)

I can make a calander up easy peasy.... its the equipment to put it together i cant do.. 89 quid for a ring binder :(

just been in and seen lee... easy option is a load of a4 pics selling at a fiver each... no frames or owt...could buy and get em signed on the game etc..

the a4 pics is a good idea , we are planning top trumps for the back of the fanzine, have you thought about a personalised service? like have you pic took with the league cupa and/or a player £10 ?
just a thought

I think we are missing the point peeps..

I am not short of ideas.. I am short of knowing how, eg the calanders I can make pages but not actual calander... photo on mug.. I wouldnt know how.

If you outsource then its 7-8 quid a mug and the club have to profit on that.. so its stuff I can do

Would a comb binder work to make a calendar? They aren't very expensive but maybe it wouldn't be ideal because you'd still need a hanging up thingy.

When I ran a fan club we used to get mugs and alsorts like that done wholesale but I don't know if the firm still exists. It was yonks back.

Why don’t you join forces with Macca and the OSC and try to get free goodies donated for joint use, Things like a A3 photo printer, binder machine, mount cutter, ink, paper etc. You could approach PC World, Staples and the like for items that are shop soiled or ex stock. I would think a nice letter and a commitment to advertise the services of the donor in written literature might pay dividends.

Looked at the binders.. there cheap opnes and expensive ones... the best ones are what ya need and as said...nearly 100 quid:(

Ask the club, can be used for a good few year so in the long run they will end up with a free binder, speculate to accumulate :D

OSC do those sort of purchases don't they? How about a winter fund raiser, hot chocolate, Carol singing or a lose change bucket or two either side of the main door to the sports bar......Get some totty to frisk people of there change on the way out. :)

its how much fans would pay.... less cost..

Market forces really, I'd pay a fiver of a good quality one, and it would be replaced every 3 or 4 months, because her behind me would dispose of it given chance. Just like she's done with my beanie
