Been up to the ground today and the diggers have arrived, starting work tomorrow, and the 15 sprinkler heads look to be settling well in the home dressing room lol :theband:
 
Given the number of games postponed last season because of waterlogging, it's been suggested elsewhere they are going to plumb it in backwards to suck the water out :)
 
Fingers crossed its the 1st of many jobs to be done on the ground this summer.


Any news of cowshed being demolished yet????
 
Maybe they are waiting until after the meeting tonight. No point digging it up if all you hooligans aren't going to conform to ground safety rules :p

me also, was told they are waiting fer the water pump to be installed in corner livi rd/whinney hill end first,before starting to dig.:) wonder we didn't bump into each other Redraine.:)

Maybe we did. There was a suave, stylish bloke coming out of the shop when I walked past.:D
 
Work has started, pics on official site, also says around £80K being spent - must be getting undersoil heating and the works for that!!!!
 
any new phots of the work on going around the ground ?????? . overfooty clubs have them will we.....
 
Yeah was told by a few customers who'd been up to ground telling us that there's no grass, all dug up to be levelled with sprinkler and drainage to be fitted. Blimey stanley with a straight level pitch will be novel :)
