How wonderful to see optimism & hope return to our forum.
T'was not long ago our season reached its nadir & we were all in the depths of despair.
Thank you to John Coleman & Jimmy Bell.
Thank you to our wonderful squad of players for never giving up, when everyone else had.
Thank you for giving us back the euphoria & joy of hope.
For the feeling we have become invincible again.
For instilling such confidence that we fear NO ONE!
For reminding us why we all love football & above all, for making us proud to say........
WE ARE STANLEY! - THE BEST CLUB IN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Nice words Lord Stiffupperlip, but I don't think there were many who were fretting over relegation. The prevailing mood was we were genuinely far too good to go down and waiting for the tide to turn.
Is my memory playing tricks?

I note from twitter the occasional jibes at Accyweb for wanting Coleman to be sacked. Utter rubbish. I know some people (ok, Cashy mainly! Sorry fella!) may have been critical of his team selections and wondering whether he'd taken us as far as he could at times (or whatever the gist was) but that was far from despair and considering where we were in the league not necessarily unreasonable (even though I never agreed).

I don't recall any posts predicting we may just possibly reach the play-offs when we plumbed the depths of second from bottom back in December.
My earlier post was simply expressing thanks for the sheer joy our current form has brought about.

The annoying thing about the anti Accy Web brigade is they outnumber Accy Web users, if they actually posted more frequently then the things they protest about would be diluted to nothingness.

Unfortunately forums always were, always will be a platform where the naysayers get their most airtime. But its no different to the conversations on the terrace or in the pub.
