Well Cashy, you did ask.....yes he is still on his diet......so all he got of the defrosted chops was the smell......he sat on the sofa with his head between his paws, looking doleful, while the two cats scoffed the roasted pork chops and skirt......they left not a scorrick....so if he had licked the dish he would only have got a taste.
He has lost weight, but is still chubby, though he can jump on and off the sofa a bit better......his collar has had to be tightened a notch too......so he is slimming down slowly.
He no longer sits at my feet waiting for buttered toast...he says to tell you,.....it was the healthy options.....it was wholemeal!
He doesn't beg for Sunday dinner.....he does get some veggies and gravy with his biscuits.....and he doesn't get treats anymore.
He doesn't seem to miss them now.
He likes to be brushed, and when I get out the vacuum cleaner he jumps up on the sofa to have his coat vacuumed with the soft furniture attachment......he rolls over so I can do his belly and then he turns around so that I can do both sides of his flanks....it is sooooooo funny to watch.
If I vacuum while he is out on his morning walk...which is now extended, have to leave the cleaner out to do him when he gets back, or he sulks.
Must be a 'male' thing eh?
