Hellllllllllo, campers! Spent yesterday feeling sorry for myself, have a cold and a very sore throat........after many years of being really poorly as a child they finally agreed to remove my tonsils at 19. Oh god how rough was I!? There were all the kids post op running round the ward eating ice-cream.........then there was me! Saline drip in one arm and a glucose drip in the other bleeding profusely from the gob department! I don't do anaesthetics local or general I have reactions to them. Oh yea and where was my ice cream.......oh no cow bag ENT nurse from hell brings me crispy cornflakes and a bread roll, which I was unable to cut due to splints up both arms. Did she help me? Hell no it was fag break!

So here I am with a sore throat which is only my 2nd or 3rd sore throat since I was 19 and I aint coping with it I am such a baby!
But just to make life that little easier I read Grego's thread and to my utter delight Kipax rants again................thanks for making me feel better. Oh and reading Rindy's blog cracked me up to. I really feel Neil should blog it would be most entertaining.

I used to keep diaries when I was younger in my teens, but was devastated when I came out of hospital once, funnily enough after my tonsillectomy, and found that my boyfriend (of 3 years) at the time had read all 7 of them. I immediately burned them and never kept one since, until now.

get well soon romps, glad rindy cheered you up - he has that effect on folk lol

Hope you are felling better soon Romps. I don't do Diaries as such, but when I go away I DO document what we did and when.....this is just so that I can win arguments about where we ate the lovely lemon chicken.... or who it was that got us lost when we were trying to find some place or other. I have to admit my travel logs are a great fount of pleasure too when I know I am not going to be able to venture very far for quite a while.....it is almost like re-living the visit.....aaah!

I think you may have what they call kissing disease. Try seperate bedrooms for a month and see if the pain goes away!;)

The pain goes away at 5.30am each day....funny that Neil being on earlies.........don't cha tink!
