Sheets only protect to a certain °below and forecast for as low has -7 to -11 ° tonight.

[andyd]

Lots of fans on their forum saying no chance of it being on.

[Chewbacca]

You never know with the covers, as you only find out once they are off.

It is + 1 c there now and sunny, +2 for the match and a much milder night tonight, shame it could not be played on Sunday.

[Crown Grounder]

Nothing on the Vale website yet but fans on the clubs message board saying it has been called off for tomorrow......

[Crown Grounder]

Now it's official. Match off tomorrow due to a frozen pitch per Vale website.
