Postal Voting Issue

Are there no Asian members of the Accyweb? It seems a little unfair that such a strong statement can be made without a reply from the people it’s aimed at. What if the vote fixing had heavily influenced a white candidate THOTH (on the presumption that you are?) would you stand down and give up your right to speak in your own country because of the ignorance of others??

Slightly confused with your question but to answer what I think you are asking I need to elaborate on my original posting.

The extent of the use of other peoples votes suggests to me that a large number of the community knew what was going on. Did any of them complain? I see an analogy in that situation with a current issue in Belfast. ie: domination of the many by the few.

If this had been happening in Peel Ward to that extent I am sure I would have known about it and of course drawn it to the attention of the appropriate authority.

My view centres around the amount of votes involved and as I consider it a community matter I would make the community relinquish the right to vote at the next election.

Nothing at all to do with a racial issue.

Well that response just says it all. I'm sorry that the Asian community has appalled you so greatly with there complete support for the mass murder of people leaping from skyscrapers in order to die that way instead of feeling there skin burn.

I hope that your views aren’t seen by the Asian community Mr. tealeaf because comments like that must be quite damaging to an already much misunderstood community.
You are obviously a supporter of the asian community, by the tones of your reply. Not wishing to enter in to a racial debate, I will only say this, "there are bad apples in every barrel" may be it's those bad apples that are causing problems for everyone.

Why are we talking about the Asian community? We are supposed to be ONE community, not splinter groups with differing interests. If we take that view, it is no wonder that there is racial unease and unrest.

Do we/the Asian community consider that our interests differ? If so, how and why? And what can/should we do about it?

Just answering a post, nothing more, nothing less.

It happened in Blackburn so how would you feel if Blackburn were not allowed to return an MP at the next general election?

Didn't an Asian voter complain when turning up to vote and being told that their vote had already been used?

You can't put a blanket blame on one section of the community.

Try this site Bagpuss, you could post the reply and see how **** funny they find it?

Or how about starting the same thread but with some more input?
Well you could try, but I don't think they understand/speak proper English. And before anyone jumps on me for being racist - its all childish textspeak on that site.

It's just gibberish to me

I just find it really difficult to read all that sort of text talk and stuff. It's a good example of the reason why we ask people not to do it on here. It's just as easy to type "who", "to" and "before" as it is to type "hu" "2" and "B4" on a message board. It's not as if space is a premium.

Well JSmith, give me one good reason why you think I should visit the site you recommend, I am quite happy to contribute in my own little way to the Accyweb and feel that I would have nothing to contribute to the forum of the ukasian site, besides I very much doubt they have posters with the wit of Tealeaf amoungst others so if you have no objections I will stay here, thank you !!!
