This afternnon we went to see Aunt Ros who is now in hospital in Manchester. She had a phone call yesterday morning, to say could she be at the hospital in Manchester by 3.30 yesterday afternoon.
She'd had an awful weekend, and her legs were so swollen we had to lift them out of bed, and Mum helped her get dressed. We are glad she is in the right place to monitor the swelling.
The Doctors are hoping to do a biopsy on her liver through her neck, so fingers crossed they might be able to find out what is causing this.
She is in good spirits and a positive frame of mind, which must be helpful.
I had a temper tantrum when l tried to hand write a card Mum had given me to take with us, before our lift arrived. I stared at my hand. I knew what I wanted it to do, and what I wanted it to write. Eventually l managed a spidery scrawl.
Not really important considering, just bloody frustrating!
Had a quick shop/lunch in Accrington and said hello to Lindsay's new boyfriend, who is lovely.
Kept my eyes peeled for Marg P. especially in Home and Bargains, but no joy.
