12" centre vent , dark navy blue pin stripe, indigo blue 'silk' lining ......I was smoooth, none of this modern day football shirt, trackie crap ....we knew how to dress in those days .;)

relating to another thread about a football game in Manchester , what is it with the modern day Brit males , guys in their 20s/30s/40s overweight guys with beer guts and shaved heads, wearing football gear ? surely that belongs to 12/13/14 year olds , who have football idols and not a bunch of guys who have latent gay tendancies , maybe 'Glasgowguy' and 'comeonstanley' (now that sounds gay to me ) have an answer . :D :D
What you talking about steeljack I always wear football shirts, but there is a reason, I a lazy sod and they don't need ironing:D

The first LP I bought was Bill Haley and the comets around 1958, then the Shadows out of the Shadows

Don't they make drip dry shirts anymore?
I haven't worn a shire with a collar for 15 years Margaret, before that I wore a suit and tie every day, I only have one shire these days and thats for funerals only, and needles to say I don't like getting that out very often:D
