I had a great time last night watching Accrington Stanley draw one a piece against Wigan Athletic.

People have asked me before if I 'really like football', presuming I suppose that I just go to oggle men in shorts. Well I do.

I used to go to Blackburn Rovers with my Dad every week from the age of three in 1968, until l moved away. We also had season tickets for Burnley in the early 70's when they were in the old first division. You could also get chips there as well, unheard of at pie based Blackburn.

What is great about Stanley is the feeling that it's proper football, you aren't miles away from the action in a super stadium, where opera glasses might be more useful than at the opera.

The atmosphere is great too. It's like a great big family. There were lots of people l know from here as well which made it even better.

Harwood Red, who gave me a lift, thank you, Tinkerbelle, Mthead, Lindsay Ormerod, g78, Sparks, UKcowboy, Kipax, Accy Red, Lampman, Baldy, Smiffy 16, Big Al, Cafu/Fearon, and Scooby who revealed himself as well, and probably others I don't know yet.

Had a great time in the bar afterwards, leaving in a cab with Tinks and Mthead about.......can't remember! Came on here and went into the chatroom and fell asleep without saying goodnight!Sorry.:(

I've met people from Royalty to Hollywood stars and never been at all starstruck, but last night my favourite player from last season Lee 'Evil' McEvilly was there to watch his old team, he's now signed for Wrexham. We were both at the cafe kiosk at the same time before the match. He looked at the burgers on the griddle and said to me he'd 'like cheeses on his meat tonight', WINK!

Well, l couldn't breathe, less so when he offered to put his milk in my coffee for me because I was struggling. Priceless, made my night.

RINDY!!!! i'm soooo angry with you...........................BASTARD ROVERS and BURNLEY all in the same blog, HOW DARE YOU!!!!............
And to even go to ROVERS then say you went to BURNLEY too.......disgusting. umph!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure whether you go because you like the football......or to ogle the footy playes legs......no matter, whatever floats your boat....!
It doesn't do it for me!
