:)I think i'm right in saying but arn't Stanley surpost to submit its own planning application for the redevelopment of the whinney hill and Coppice terrace and other ground improvements ,Before the end of Feb 2010 as set out in the meeting with the Hyndburn planing office a few weeks back:)

I'm putting two and two together here but perhaps this could be a clue

'Good morning everyone. i am just getting ready to go to torquay. i was in Accy yesterday and went with Rob Heys and Peter Marsden to meet a variety of people, including our new accountants and Hyndburn Borough Council.'

Good thinking, Sherlock! :)

There's sort of an update on this on the Telegraph website.

Stanley are making progress as they bid to secure funding for a new £1m development at the Crown Ground in the summer.
And there remains the possibility that the work could lead to the removal of some of the seats in the Clayton End, which had to be installed last summer to meet Football League requirements.
The latest development would include new dressing rooms and a roof on the Coppice Terrace, which would have to become all-seated to be eligible for funding from the Football Foundation.
Heys said: “It would have to be seats so we would have to put some extra terracing in, possibly on the Whinney Hill side, because we are mindful that we do need to keep the capacity over 5,000 to meet Football League rules.
“There may be a possibly of taking some seats out of the Clayton End.
“It’s something that we’re looking into. We know the fans want to stand.”

It's only a couple of weeks ago that Rob Heys said that there were no plans to put any seating in the Coppice End. I don't think that they know what they are doing. At the Fans' Forum at the beginning of the season we were told that funding was in place to re-develop the Coppice End and that it would not cost Stanley a penny and that work would start directly after the last home game of the season. All this came from Heys and O'Neill. What a load of garbage.
