When went to visit Auntie Ros yesterday it was a relief to find her herself. She'd had a good night's sleep and seemed normal. After the previous two days it was joyous, as we didn't know what we'd find when we got there. We were able to talk to her normally, although she was still ill and her tv was still covered with a towel. We made no mention to her of the bizarre things that had been said earlier.
When Mum and l got back from the hospital we were talking about why she'd been acting so paranoid the previous two days. Mum thinks there is still something very wrong, and that the pressure on part of her brain may have shifted, making her seem normal again.
She is due to have a scan on Tuesday, although l don't know what kind, presumably a brain one, and not the one on her liver she was having ten days ago when the scanner broke down?
We aren't visiting the hospital today, as there are lots of people going today who want to see her. l'm going to tea at Mum's, who is cooking roast lamb. A sort of normality rules, or seems to at least for the minute.
