rolls royce washing machine

[magpie]

does anyone know if Rolls Royce used to make washing machines... I am sure they did: I would be looking around the late 60's early 70's:

I have a big bet on this, and can find nothing on the net:

There were Rolls Rapide twin tubs, made by Rolls Razor - dont know whether it was part of Rolls Royce.

PS more searching - dont think they were

Think you'd better get saving for the big pay out. Here's an article from 1961: Bloom at the Top - TIME

Here is another pic from the brochure I put as thumbnail earlier - clearly shows 'Rolls' ---but no Royce

Rolls Royce centenary page shows NO washing machines

Sorry for digging this thread up but 45 years ago I used to work for John Bloom as a salesman for the then very cheap Rolls washing Machines.
John Bloom bought the trade name of Rolls Razors and it was nothing to do with Rolls Royce.
