Took my daughter to Royal Blackburn yesterday to have all her teeth pulled........appointment was 12pm, arrived 11.40am. I had mac with me in the car so left at 1.30pm, left Maricia sitting waiting, didn't have her surgery till 5pm.........which I think is a terribly long wait with nothing to eat or drink, anyway I diverse........picked her up about 8.15pm. Was quite surprised that she was not in any pain, was even more surprised when she got up this morning and still not in any pain, even tho she had her new teeth put in straight after the surgery.........so all in all thumbs up to the theatre staff, and can't neglect the nursing staff who were excellent as well. :D
 
Saw Maricia last night and wow she was in great spirits . Well done girl , you were very brave !! And Thanks Lynx for aknowledging the theatre and ward staff.

She is kate.....always has been, just took her back home yesterday, she was starting to get some pain with her dentures rubbing her gums but apart from that still pain free. :D
 
Why in this day and age would a 35 yr old need the total extaction of all her teeth , seems there was something lacking in parental supervision during the formative years :confused:

Steel Jack , why would you assume that there was lack of parental guidence cos some one had to have all teeth removed ?? There are many reasons why extraction was necessary and not for reasons you are implying.
Can you imagine how painful your teeth would be with no enamel on them ?? Some are born that way !

i was 27 when i had all mine out, does that make me mam n dad useless tossers?

You stupid man do you know nothing...........have you never seen anyone with false teeth who happen to be young and priviledged....how dare you infere that I was a bad mother, think you should look to your own first:(
