Any suggestions for a new song to run out to for our 40th birthday ????? i have one in mind and would like to see if anyone else picks the same one.
Something from 1968 would be good. ???

Communication Breakdown - Led Zeppelin, although I think it was probably '69.

Just 'Accrington Go' for me.

Yup has to be for me too, never heard the song till the exhibition & now always singing it & wondering why its never played:rolleyes:

Or a stanley medley of that with on stanley on & cart on mm throughout the years:rolleyes:

68 guns is well appropriate and has that 'up and at 'em' type of tune

but......... Accrington Go is a really good tune with cracking bagpipe accompaniment.

available on the DVD any time soon

I know it's from 1965 but (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones seems very apt at the moment.

i was waiting for someone to put this up! good song this gets the fans going anway top to jump up and down to good atmosphere! good times! more good times to come! this season! yordi yordi yordi

"Heard it through the Grapevine" was '68 though. ;)

Or maybe Archie Bell and the Drells, "Tighten Up". (Ricky might actually play this. :))

'68, great year for music, and football teams, actually the football team. :alright:

What is the point asking what the fans want?
From what I read on here the club don't actually care what the fans want.

All I ever read on here about the club management is wasted opportunities (exhibition), poor communication (fishy site) and alienation of you fans (late season tickets with yet more no information).

I am amazed that the OSC and club management don't work together on these issues. Is there some bad history between the two or are the management really that poor that they can't see what is going on?
