It's Christmas Eve. Thankfully the inner child in me has taken over, and the miserable old git has left. I've felt good today. Even going to see my uncle in Blackburn's answer to Bedlam wasn't too bad.

Mum made a wonderful tea, and we exchanged gifts, though haven't opened them yet. I called my brother's children and then my cousins two. It was so nice to hear the excitment in their voices, and it's infected me with their joy as well.

Life's precious, and instead of dwelling too much on the past, tomorrrow when we'll remember last Christmas day at Aunt Ros's, we'll enjoy the time we have now, and take pleasure in each other's love.

There will be six adults and four children tomorrow. My brother ordered a fresh turkey, asking that it should be between 16-18 llbs. Mum said that she'd paid for it. My brother collected it, and found it cost £34, and weighs only 13 llbs, which I think sounds too expensive. Luckily the butcher also happens to be my godfather, and we are going to the annual party he throws on Boxing Day, so we'll have to eat and scoff a lot to get our moneys worth.

To anybody that reads this, I wish you a very Merry Christmas, a very happy new year, and send you lots of love.

Christmas Eve is the best part of Christmas.
Glad your good today.
Merry Christmas Rind from both of us.
With all our Love. xx

I am glad you were infected by the Spirit of Christmas......kids pass all these things round.....they aren't skinny with the family.

You are so right about living in the NOW.....but we have no choice really.....yesterday is gone and tomorrow is only promised to us.

I hope your Day has been special....and filled with things that have warmed your heart.
