When I was a kid in the mid 60’s I’d often stop at my grans of a weekend, there always seemed to be a horror movie on. Those old Hammer House of Horror films, Dracula, The Mummy, The Curse of Frankenstein . They dint half put the wind up me as a child

The Birds like Margaret said was another dodgy one, think I remember being scared watching Dial "M" for Murder too...think that was what it was called

Can't say that I like Horror films at all, but one thing I don't like even now never mind whem I was a kid, is anything about spiders, I definately suffer from Arachnophobia, so obviously I didn't see the film:eek::hidewall::hidewall:

My Dad used to wake me up when i was younger so that i could watch the "hammer films"
i love scarey films - so i guess i dont find them so scarey lol
i think poltergeist scared me in the way that it was sureeal
....step away from the light carollanne lol

when i was a kid it was zombie flesh eaters..:(....too gory!!

now nowt scares me, although i find the 'Saw' films abit gory!

My daughter hates The ring....she wont even watch it now...LOL

I love horror films, I especially enjoy it when I notice a person has a certain talent, knife thrower, gymnast, plumber, (now, they are hard to spot), there is always some point early in the film they demonstrate their talents just so that the ridiculous things they do later on fit in with the climax of the plot!

I love my horror films, have a great collection of "cheesy" zombie movies too. Cant say any of them have ever scared me. Must say though the nightmare on elm streets used to freak me a bit but i was only about 8. Love watching them with someone who is jumpy though, just take time to find when they are well engrossed to scare them lol

I always thought "The Avengers" was a bit creepy when I was a kid. They always had wierd sets and lots of smoke and everything

my mum used to collect them.....friggin scared the hell outta me!

Yeah, I really don't like them:(

A film I would never watch when I was younger and still never would, is Arachnophobia! Yak!!

Also don't like the Hills Have Eyes, saw the 1st, won't watch the 2nd:D
