I had a trip to the Trafford Centre on thursday evening with the intention of buying a new bag for my hand luggage. I actually found one that I liked so snapped it up instantly. Bought a couple of bits and bobs, camera film etc. Much to Sparky's and my surprise I actually managed to go into Selfridges without heading for the Karen Millen section and he managed to come out without any Paul Smith shirts. We were so shocked at our restrained behaviour that we had to sit down for an hour with a curry and a drink to get over it...
The truth is that I'm tired, I can't even be bothered to shop for the hols and lets face it, things that we may need like T-shirts and shorts will be so much cheaper to buy there. There may even be an end of summer sale on. So I will leave plenty of room in my luggage for potential new purchases. If Singapore is anything like Hong Kong for shopping, I have a feeling that there will be plenty of luggage coming home with me.
