There's a new four part series starts on Sky 1 tomorrow at 9pm Take by Martina Cole, if the adaptation is as good as her books should be a cracking series

You forgot to mention what it's called.

It is "The Take". :D

Already got it set to record it all.

EDIT:!!!!!! Dont forget that it also has it's 2nd episode directly afterwards at 10pm

I've set my HD box to record this, although I'm more interested in the new HBO series, True Blood, starting on the 17th July on FX.

pretty good show , even tough its supposed to be based around vampires its pretty much a soft porn show lol

i swear the whole cast must be taking viagra,if you like boobs and lots of them then this is teh show to watch , especially season 1 lol

however you dont get to see the star of teh shows boobies until near the end of season 1

but its worth the wait :D:D

there is actually a vampire element to teh show which is teh only reason why i watch it

HBO can't do much wrong in my eyes. The Sopranos, The Wire, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Generation Kill, Deadwood.... the list of quality just goes on and on.

I picked up a few items in the HBO store in NY last December and no doubt I'll be in there when I'm over there again in a few months time.

I have to say I had never heard of HBO TM although I have heard of some of the programs you mention, but have just googled it and had a shufty. The thing is I don't watch much on line so probably that's why it was foreign to me

HBO is an American cable station Jaysay. In the States you pay extra on top of your usual cable fee for Home Box Office.... a bit like paying extra for Sky's premium channels. I believe they have about 38 million subscribers in the USA and are now owned by the enormous Time Warner group. HBO aren't shackled like syndicated US TV, which gives them the freedom to produce more challenging TV.

In the UK, HBO show the majority of their own produced shows through FX (Fox owned) initially, but then sometimes they find their way on to Channel 4.
