Sky issues?

Thanks for that info Neil. They have said that they will supply one room and any extra rooms will be £70 a time.
Please clarify whether I have understood right - they be putting two cables into each room that you want tv reception in?
I am tempted to pay £70 extra for the bedroom, because I have a portable tv and freeview box lying about doing nothing at the moment, which I could (hopefully) still find usable for the bedroom.

I actually rang them Margaret and they assured me that this new system would be fine even for HD as well, but when you think about it both my TVs have freeview built in and I can get all the free view satellite programs like Sky Sports News, I'm paying the £70 for the bedroom socket as I have multi room at the moment

I don't know why you have multi room when there is only one person living in the flat. The only advantage is if you want HD in the bedroom and that can be got around.

A Sky box has 2 RF outputs. The second one works with a magic eye as well. You run a coax cable from RF output 2 to your bedroom TV. The magic eye pugs into the coax as well. Then your Sky remote will change the channel on the sky box when you are in the bedroom. No £70 to install and no multiroom charge each month.

Neil, this is jaysay your talking about here, its like I am to techno as Bernard Manning was to hang gliding, remember it was I who had to get is 11 year old granddaughter to program his mobile when I first got one, when it comes to these things I'm bloody useless believe me, I do know where the on switch is for my laptop though
