Anyone living in Springhill got any grotspot photos?
If you have a digi camera and want to take any they would be put in the Grotspot section on the website  Springhill Spotlight

You can email them to me at Springhill Mail

I regularly send links to these pictures to the council. Hopefully it will take effect eventually.

Let's hope some of the  people who run the council see your site and this forum Cazzer. Well done you!

my mum and dad have lived there for about 18 years, and are noww moving because the area is so bad, there are rats coming from that new snooker club and my dad is forever getting his car stratched and windows put through, i hated living there, in past 2 years since i moved it has got so much worse, its such a shame that they have to move because of what its become. >:(

Hi gemz, sorry to here that your parents are leaving. It's a sad situation when they have to do that.
Hopefully things will improve in the future. The  development will help a little, plus we have the wardens now.

The council really need to be cracking down on nuisance householders & juvenile problems. If they don't all the decent people will be moving out and the place is going to get even worse.  :'(  >:(:'( >:(

thanks cazzer, i remember a time when they could have daffodils in their garden without the heads getting sliced off, or constant dog fouling at the top of exchange st, what happened?? we need police on foot up there with the way its getting :'(

springhill it used to be lovely up there but now the council are putting anyone in the propities................they should be vetted ...people have no pride anymore

I have just come back from a walk up that area this morning. I had a look along Charter Street. Dear God what a tip! How can people bear to live there anymore. The council houses at the bottom of Craven Street are a disgrace! I can remember a lot of the people who used to live there and everyone was always so proud of their homes, whether they owned them or rented them from the council.

What Happened???
