Summer is great for Sport.......now I never ever thought I would be saying that.
I have never been into sport in a big way.
No........I'm lying. I would go so far as to say that I hate most sport.

does ten pin bowling count as a sport?......I'm not really sure.
And golf.....Now I always considered that to be a good walk spoiled. And aren't the fees ludicrously expensive...that and the balls!
Tennis and Wimbledon....never been on my list of things that I like........I'm not even keen on the strawberries and cream angle of it. Baseball?? Now isn't that a brasher version of rounders?
When I was at school I was always the last to be picked for a team because I was such 'bobbins' at this game.......I was scared of the ball. I'm sure it was made of half a housebrick.......it was as hard as one anyway(maybe even harder). The bats were all splintery and hurt if I ever did manage to hit a ball...which I hasten to add wasn't that often.
I used to run to catch the ball and then at the last minute pull my hands away because I just knew it was going to hurt to catch it.........wasn't good at running between the posts either used to fall over and get run out. That's why no-one ever wanted me in their team...I was a liability....I hated the kit too. Navy blue gym knickers were never a fashion statement

Anyway, now I have found that I quite like these games...and I have been playing them most days.
I like bowling the best......maybe because I have got some half decent scores....the baseball....not good I'm afraid. Invariably I swing the bat too early or too late......the upshot is I am out very soon...so not much changed there then.

Tennis and golf...well, they make me sweat.......all that running around the court.
I have lost a few golf balls too....some in the sea......some in the lake, but I AM getting better.
At this rate I am going to be thin as a rake and fitter than a butchers dog by the time the summer is over.

Oh, by the way I should have said......I play all these sports in my front room........on the Wii machine! does that count as sport?

Right, I have to go now and see if I can beat Hashimoto in three sets!

I didn't manage to beat Hashimoto.....but I am going to complain to the governing body....he had a player helping him......my clone just stood around being witless.
If you have a Wii machine you'll understand that last sentence.

Yes because you have said before that your hubby hogs the remote and watches sport which you don't like!!!
