summer

[pam1]

ALL HANDS UP
WHO THINKS WE WILL HAVE A HOT SUMMER THIS YEAR? SO FOR WE HAVE HAD RAIN RAIN AND MORE RAIN

[pipinfort]

Or does anyone think we`ll have a summer at all.................? It seems to get later every year.

[MargaretR]

Spring has just begun - give it time.
Those people who live in the equatorial zone don't have seasons - just permenant summer - I think they miss out - even though they don't need 'summer clothes' and 'winter clothes', and the sun sets at the same time every day - how boring.

[pam1]

Margaret summer would do me all the year round.
I'm a person that should hibernate till winter is over

[Eric]

We had summer already .... I slept in and missed it

Cross Canada off your where-to-live list .... you would be hibernating for 11 months of the year

I'm convinced we're on a thirty year weather cycle.

76/06- Phew what a scorcher.

77/07- What summer?

1978 was a mixed bag, so fingers crossed.

Those two summers were the best I can remember, but on June sixth 1975 it snowed in Derbishire and a Lancashire V Derby match was called off, I was working in Carlise at the time, it was awful on the 6th June then didn't rain again unrtil 13th August, a glorious summer

[Sara]

Meant to get a very hot summer this year, but plenty of rain to go with it.
