That bribe I gave the BT broadband engineer to keep her offline for as long as possible is the best £20 I have spent in ages.

"Whats the point in having it if it's not on show" Grrr you just can't win sometimes

maybe I have a weird mind , but whenever I see a tattoo I always imagine it back-lit by a 100 watt light bulb.

my advice , don't do it girl

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

You don't collect things like lampshades that were covered in skin made from the victims of the Holocaust?

Sadly and seriously people do.

(A 100 watt is too strong for a lamp though.:D)

I've got three tattoo's. I don't regret any of them, but they can all be covered up.

Have you seen the episode of "Friends"? The one where Pheobe get a little tiny dot & says that it's the earth viewed from millions of miles away.

Hillarious.

:)

NO , certainly not , its just a thing that has stuck in my mind from being a youngster in the 50's when we were subjected to all the post war propaganda about how the bad the Germans and Japanese were.

I knew you wouldn't have, but what you posted just painted this weird picture in my mind.:)

ok, dont want to cause any offense to anyone , I'm of an age where sailors have tattoos and maybe people of various ethnic groups where it is part of the culture e.g. Maoris in New Zealand , I'm sorry but when I see some "anglo" with a tribal tattoo it just seems out of place in my mind , bit like a white guy/gal with dredlocks , or Brits wearing leather clothes , Germans can wear leather ok , but Brits can't carry the look . just an observation .

Don't do it, don't ruin your body, it will look even worse in ten years than it will when it's first done. Can't understand you girls wanting something permannet like that, you wouldn't wear the same clothes for the rest of your life, so why have the same 'painting' for the rest of your life. They look vile when wrinkley. Nearly everybody has them, they all have them in the same places, and usually one of a few designs. They say they have it because it looks good, in their opinion, but they have it done for themselves, even though they can't see it if it's on a shoulderblade.

Stealjack it seems that anyone who doesn't like tattoos these days is considered to be offensive.
That said I did find the little tattoo my very refined ex had a bit of a turn on, gave her that bit of a rebel slut look to contrast.

Slinks, if you promise me that you will not go ahead with this silly escapade, I promise you I will buy you a pint of lager and a bag of cheese & onion crisps at the next Accy web meet.

Why don't you go and have your tounge pierced at least then you can take it out when you want and its not there permanently!

I cant really say owt i have both!!

Its your life your body and your certainly old enough to make up your own mind now. Go for it girl if thats what you want.

:camera8: Right Slinky the camera is ready just tell me where and when your having it done and i will be there to take the pics for you.:camera8:

Slinky, I think you should go for it, I have a small rose on my shoulder blade, its been there for 15 years now and I still dont regret it, I agree with Gayle its a scratchy kind of pain, not too bad at all. I would get it where it can be covered though and make sure the artist that does it is good at his/her job, mine is still as neat as the day it was done, dont have it done on any body part that sags!
